Travel and Tourism - Aviation Operations Diploma (Level 3)

Use this course to pursue your career within the aviation industry or go on to higher education. With the use of the College air cabin simulator and facilities at major UK/European airports, you’ll get an excellent insight into the workings of this fast paced environment. Learning will be a combination of class-based and practical experience, with topics including handling air passengers, air travel information, meeting customer needs, health, safety and security and preparation for working in the aviation industry. Students are required to wear a uniform for the duration of the programme. Confidence, presentation skills, knowledge on everything aviation. As part of the course you will be required to wear a uniform at all times. This uniform is to be purchased by the students and there are strict guidelines on appearance, no facial piercing, visible tattoos etc. Park Lane Campus The majority of students directly apply to work in the airline industry upon completion of the course. Students have been extremely successful in gaining roles both as Cabin Crew and Ground Staff with employers such as Jet2.com, Ryanair and Servisair. Students can also go onto Higher Education with courses such as the Foundation Degree in Tourism and Aviation.
