About the Course
This one-year course investigates travel and tourism, one of the fastest growing industries in this country. You will learn how travel and tourism organisations operate as businesses, promote themselves and look after customers.

* Marketing in Travel and Tourism
* Planning Visits for Travel and Tourism
A work experience placement will be offered during this course.
Course Aims
The course aims to provide you with a general knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, as well as developing your ability to apply organisational skills to practical situations. It will also develop your skills in ICT.

Fees
No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
What next?
A BTEC First Diploma will provide a good grounding for you to embark upon occupational training within this industry. It will also enable you to proceed on to higher level qualifications such as Applied AS/A Levels.
