About the course:
The travel industry is as diverse as the world it serves. No two destinations are the same, no two holiday-makers are the same, and no two travel companies are the same?

The course covers all aspects of the travel and tourism industry leading to a work-related qualification.

Course Content:
Units include:

• Worldwide travel and tourism destinations
• Customer relations for travel and tourism
• Workplace communication skills for travel and tourism
• Introduction to retail travel services
• Planning itineraries for travel and tourism
• Travel and tourism for all UK
• Travel and Tourism destinations
• Air fares and ticketing
• Introduction to Health & Safety

Equipment Requirements:
You will need to buy some Travel books including an atlas. Details will be given at interview.

Assessment:
You will be assessed by a combination of coursework, external assessment and online tests.

Progression:
You may progress to C&G First Diploma in Travel and Tourism or find junior level work in the Travel and Tourism industry.
