About the course:
This course is an in-depth study of travel and tourism, aimed at those wishing to work within the industry, offering a flexible suite of vocational qualifications. The course covers all aspects of the travel and tourism industry leading to a work related qualification. You may go on to develop a career at heritage sites, travel agents, tourist information centres, theme parks, tour operators, airports, airlines, cruise companies or transport operators.

Equipment Requirements:
You will need to buy some Travel books including an atlas. Details will be given at interview.

Assessment:
You will be assessed by a combination of coursework, external assessment and online tests.

Progression:
Upon successful completion of this course, you can further your skills and knowledge by studying for a related qualification at University (HND or Degree level). Alternatively you could find employment within the travel and tourism industry, possibly at supervisory or management level.
