Throughout the course you will develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in working life. You will cover a variety of modules such as:
Unit 1: Starting Work in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism (for Certificate and Diploma)
Unit 2: Working in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism (for Diploma only)
Unit 3: Introducing Customer Service (for Certificate and Diploma)
Entry RequirementsLearning & Assessment Methods
A combination of internal and external assessed assignments are conducted throughout the duration of the course.
Qualifications Gained
Edexcel BTEC Introductory Diploma in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism.
Progression Opportunities
If you achieve an overall merit you will be able to progress onto the BTEC Level 2 First Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
Career Opportunities
Junior or trainee in the Travel and Tourism industry e.g. travel agent, airport check in, overseas rep, working in a visitor attraction.
