Progression and Employment:
Successful completion of the BTEC Diploma will qualify students for entry to HNDs and Degree courses in related subjects. Also careers directly related to travel and tourism e.g. Tour operators, travel agents, holiday reps, tourist information centres, hotel and hospitality work and public relations.

Programme Features:
- The course has a strong link with local employers. This ensures that students gain a realistic view of the demands and the trends of the industry
- Students will develop the skills, knowledge and understanding relevant to employment in this sector
- The overall aim of the course is to provide a broad based introduction to the study of travel and tourism
- Students with appropriate qualifications can choose to study an AS/A Level subjects in conjunction with this course (subject to timetable restrictions). Students could do a combination of 6 units alongside an AS/A Level subject.
- Additional qualifications such as an Agored Cymru Language unit can be studied e.g. Spanish conversation.
- In addition to this course, students will study six essential skills

Learners will study the Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate alongside this qualification.
