Entry Requirements:

A candidate is eligible for enrolment if (s)he:

  • is 17 years of age, has two GCE A' Level plus at least three further subjects at GCSE/GCE ‘O’ levels (not less than grade C), and can demonstrate competence in Mathematics at par with a grade C in GCSE/GCE 0 Levels
  • All applicants are required to provide proof of competence in English acceptable to the University, - IELTS overall score six with the minimum of 5.5 in each sub-test, TOEFL with the score of 580 (or 237 on the computerised test) plus TWE with a score of 4.5 (or a Writing Rating of 4.5 in the computerised test) – or any other recognised test of proficiency at the level acceptable to the University.

Assessment

The examinations are held every May/June. Results are declared in late August. The examination standards are the same whether the student registers for the Diploma or BSc (through the regular or access routes or through the Diploma).
