Entry Requirements
You need to have your Level 2 Apprenticeship and also will need to be employed within the industry.

Course Duration
1 Year.

Mandatory Units
Units include: Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Work Area in the work place. Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relations in the work place. Confirming the Occupational Method of work in the workplace. Setting Out complex Masonry Structures in the workplace. Erecting Complex Masonry Structures in the workplace.

Optional Units
These will be agreed with both your Assessor and Employer.

Course Assessment
For the qualification in Brickwork, your job knowledge and practice is assessed through a portfolio of evidence. The Technical Certificate in Brickwork is assessed by assignments and knowledge-based tests. Your Functional Skills are assessed by examination and portfolio.

Progression
After passing the Advanced Apprenticeship you can progress on to a Higher National Certificate (HNC).
