What I would highlight: Living in Egypt and not speaking the language is not an easy thing. even knowing just a little bit of Arabic helps a lot! I am so thankful for U-Can, you made it easier for a young newbie to live and participate in the society! You are all great teachers and amazing people.

What I would highlight: When we arrived, Arabic seemed scary. But after our first classes with William, Norma andLaurice, we quickly realised Arabic is fun and Egyptians are fun! Then we met and studied with many more teachers and loved them all. A special thank you to our 2 teachers Laurice and Amany who helped us reach level 10! We love you all, thank you all and bless you all!

What I would highlight: U-Can has helped me so, so much in learning Arabic! All the teachers and staff really care about the students, and it shows. the teachers were willing to teach me what I wanted to know, going out of their way to make sure I understood. What I would highlight: Thank you all for contributing to this very special month that I was blessed with here in Cairo. I learned so much thanks to your help and am glad that my dream to learn Arabic is finally coming true. I am very glad that you adapted to my "special" learning speed and pushed me to try even harder. What I would highlight: These past four months of studying Arabic with you have been truly wonderful! I have learned so much! Before, when I studied Arabic in the US, it was difficult and boring. What I would highlight: After two years I am still plodding along in learning Arabic. U-Can and its teachers are very patient. My time here has been enjoyable and Mariam, and Ossam are great teachers. I know that in a moment in the twinkling of an eye I will start to grasp and understand more Arabic. Our goal is to offer excellent Arabic language courses and equip our students with language skills and a cultural understanding, that will allow them to work and interact smoothly and effectively in an Arab society.The U-Can Arabic Language Institute is an independent business established 3 years ago. We have taught over 3,000 students from more than 20 different countries. We have taught individuals from the Korean International Co-Operation Agency, British Petroleum (BP) and other international businesses and schools as well as given lessons to American Embassy employees.U-Can's books and resources are designed in house to give students relevant grammar and phrases they can use right away. As students progress in their language, the lesson books, phrases and grammar help to develop a well rounded ability to converse with Arab speakers in a flexible and comfortable manner.We offer 12 levels of Amiyya/Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA) courses, which are categorized according to the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) descriptions.
