Course programme
On the course students will study a range of modules including:
Year 1
Programming (C++), Web Development (HTML, CSS, Java-script), Practitioner skills, Problem Solving, Systems Analysis
Year 2
Advanced Databases, Networking, Human Computer Interaction, Dynamic Web Design (Php), Project placement, Rapid Application development.
Method of Study
Full time and part time students will attend lectures on the given subjects. Resources will be made available through our VLE and students encouraged to widen their knowledge through directed study. Students will collaborate with peers and gain links with local employers on their individual project module. Students have access to a full range of UCLan resources including their library and journal subscriptions.
Additional information
Students will be assessed through a range of methods including - academic reports, practical activities and presentations of their findings.
