Course programme

The assessment for all modules is 100% coursework, there are no examinations on this foundation degree. Testing of the knowledge base is principally through project based coursework. Concept development, augmented/virtual reality, 3D printing, CAD, CNC, brand, packaging, brochure and logo design.

Graduates from the South West College Foundation Degree in Design (Product and Graphic) will have three specific progression routes - the BDes Hons Degree in Product and Furniture Design, the BDes Hons Degree in Interior Design and BDes (Hons) Design for Creative Practice (with specialisms) specialising in Graphic Design. In addition, Learners may seek progression routes to other courses and other higher education providers or directly to employment.
