Overview: This programme offers students the opportunity to gain specialisation on urban and rural design and planning that helps to create successful ‘places’ that are economically active, socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable. The course explores the relationship between nature and built environment in both urban and rural settings. Most modules contain a significant practice-orientated component that focuses on developing the skills and knowledge necessary for working effectively in an increasingly urbanised and complex world.

About this course

Normally a 2.2 Honours degree or above or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University. Students who have successfully completed the BSc in Planning, Environmental and Development can apply to this programme.
