Course programme
Why choose this course?
- under the pressure of day to day work loads teams can sometimes lose their direction and even fracture
- as legislation develops and corporate direction changes teams need the time out to consider how to respond to external challenges
- a team which works to their strengths and is perceived as being successful still needs to use reflective thinking in order to maintain their standard of excellence
- teams develop a culture, usually unconsciously, which can undermine their sense of purpose and the passion and commitment which drew them into their professional field, team building is an opportunity to regain this and to be re-envisioned
- positive results ~ more team cohesion and support, improved practice, greater participation, increased workplace satisfaction, less time taken off with stress
Length of course: 1 or 2 days as required 9.30 – 4.30
Nature of training:
It is preferable for the whole team to work together. If the group is over 15 Leapfrog Training will provide a second facilitator for this course.
The nature of the exercises will depend on the group and the choices made in the pre-course questionnaires. On offer in addition to written exercises are:
- active games / meditation / painting / voice work / visualisation / drama /collage work / dance/movement / mask making / sculpting
Hand outs will be provided to reinforce all theoretical input.
All members of the team will be asked to fill in a pre course questionnaire, these are then collated anonymously and returned to the team before the training. The training will be planned based on the team’s perceptions of priorities.
All work done by the team will be written up, accompanied by photos of art and collage work and returned to the team for each member to have a copy.
Individual coaching can be available both as preparation and following the course.
