Course programme
What will I study?
This programme will allow you to explore various ingredients and develop the basic skills needed for creating vegetarian dishes. The course will encourage you to develop your own creative culinary ideas and show you the art of presenting food to impress.
The course will provide you with new skills in culinary techniques and present you with a range of recipes, including:
- Spiced beetroot and feta tarts with rocket and mint-dressed leaves
- Mexican bean chili with tortilla chips
- Red onion tarte tatin with goat's cheese
- Jerk sweet potato and black bean curry
Course participants will be able to develop their awareness of Health and Safety relating to the preparation of food, food safety awareness, practical knife skills and stove control, whilst learning logical and coherent methods for producing vegetarian courses.
