DCM Technical Services is offering a course which provides a basic introduction to air conditioning: service, repair and safe handling. This is designed to meet the minimum qualifications as a short-term stop gap until accredited courses are announced.

The cost will be £120 + VAT per candidate for a one day course, with a mix of classroom and hands on workshop training in a realistic environment. There are discounts available for block bookings of more than 4 candidates.

There are usually no more than 6 candidates per course and we can offer on site training in some cases , with the courses tailored to your specifications.

Did you know that F-Gas regulations came into force on July 4th 2007? If you are repairing air conditioning systems, without formal training you are breaking the law. The legislation will be phased in gradually, but by 2009 you will need an approved F-gas qualification to repair systems and to buy gas, which will be in reusable non-disposable containers.
