Course Content: This course is ideal if you wish to follow a career in becoming a body repair specialist within the Motor Vehicle Industry. You will complete assignments covering various activities carried out in this role, including Repairing Body Panels, Fitting New Panels, and Welding and Fabrication. For each topic you will cover both theory and practical work, gaining knowledge and skills of each activity.

The technical award covers the underpinning Knowledge for phase one of the Modern Apprenticeship Framework for Vehicle Body Repair; therefore it is an ideal programme for those wishing to progress to employment and follow a Modern Apprenticeship.

Students are required to purchase their own tool bag and tools; this is arranged with the tutor within the first four weeks of the course.

Special Features: You will be learning and working with technology of a standard that mirrors the actual industry, and so, gain knowledge and skills vital within the realistic working environment of this industry.

Course Format: 2.5 days per week
