Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - NVQ Level 3

Course Overview
This course is aimed at those employed in the motor industry.
In this course the same systems are covered as in the NVQ L2 but in greater depth & with more emphasis on diagnosis

Course Structure
The course is studied over 2 years (work-based learning) & start times are flexible to suit the candidate
Subjects covered include:

• Inspect vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle engine systems and component faults
• Diagnose and rectify chassis system and component faults
• Diagnose and rectifu auxiliary equipment electrical faults

Qualification Aims
Successful candidates will be awarded the NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Assessments/Examinations
Continuous assessment of practical work in addition to regular testing of underpinning knowledge.
City & Guilds online GOLA exams
