About this course

A range of GCSEs at grades D/E. If you do not have a grade C in Maths and/or English you will be required to resit.
A strong interest in Car Mechanics and a desire to understand more about the workings of a modern automobile.
You will need to have good IT skills, be able to work as a member of a team and accept high standards of behaviour in a potentially dangerous working environment.

All units are assessed by a combination of written and practical assignments, internally and externally set.
Fees
No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
What next?
BTEC National Diploma or other level 3 courses in Automotive Engineering, or work in the car repair and servicing sector.
