Aim of course
EVEN THOUGH THIS COURSE IS ARRANGED THROUGH THE DISTANCE LEARNING UNIT, IT REQUIRES ONE TO ONE VISITS FROM OUR ASSESSOR WITH THE LEARNER. FOR FUNDING, INDIVIDUALS NEED TO BE WORKING/LIVING IN EITHER ESSEX, NORFOLK OR SUFFOLK. This NVQ level 4 programme is designed to enable you to become a more effective member of your organisation. It will do this by helping you to demonstrate your ability to verify assessment decisions concerning candidates? performance in the workplace.
What will the course involve?
Each unit has an associated assessment paper. The sections in the assessment paper relate directly to the sections in the workbook. You are not required to sit an examination. The assessors will look at your work and expect to see your unique individual answers to you that show evidence of practical experience and wider knowledge that can be obtained from the workbooks and from your personal experience. If you experience any difficulties completing a question you will be given information on how to contact your assessor for guidance. Once you have completed a unit you will need to give it to your tutor. It will be marked and then you will receive a thoroughly documented mark sheet. You will need to use this mark sheet to look back over your work and see if any question requires an action plan before returning to your tutor for final marking. There is no pass/fail percentage, the work is either satisfactory, meeting all the 'performance criteria', or additional information is required.
