Overview
This course is designed to provide a workshop approach to learning about the VM Operating System. It combines a high degree of practical with the essential theory.

Course objectives
To provide a high level introduction to the VM world of computing and how to use CMS facilities.

By the end of this course you will have learned
To identify the functions of the main components of VM. How to logon and logoff CMS and use online help files. How to create, edit and manage CMS files on minidisks and the shared file system. How to send and receive files. How to create simple Rexx programs and Pipelines. How to create and format temporary disks and link to other users'' minidisks.
