This two-day, hands-on training course equips experienced VMware vSphere® administrators with the knowledge to install, configure, and manage VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager™ 5.0. This course also equips vSphere administrators with the knowledge to assist in disaster planning and to test disaster recovery plans with SRM. This course is not required for VMware® certification, but the content of the course is a subset of the knowledge tested in the VMware Certified Design Expert examinations

vSphere administrators, architects, system engineers, and systems integrators who are responsible for the deployment or management of SRM

Pre-Requisites

  • Completion of VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage or equivalent experience
  • Basic knowledge of disaster recovery concepts
  • Basic knowledge of storage array technology

At the end of the course, you should gain an understanding of the functionality in SRM 5.0 and be able to do the following:
