Content / Overview:
This course is designed to give you the opportunity to explore and study a variety of different vocational areas. It is designed to develop employability skills and techniques, understanding, personal qualities and attitudes essential for success in working life or progression to Level 2 courses. You will develop your experience and ability in different vocational sectors and be taught the knowledge and skills you need in order to move on to study further or for entering the workplace. Specialised studies will be undertaken which are directly relevant to more than one vocational sector giving you more choice for future progression. Topics include developing skills in IT, the healthy body, explore and develop art, design, and media ideas, personal effectiveness, financial management, issues in sport and leisure, images of people.

Delivery Method:
A theoretical and practical course covering a number of different work sectors.

Assessment:
Assignments in the form of written and practical assessments.

Progression:
Provides a stepping stone into vocational sectors or to a range of further study at Levels 2.
