Overview
With nail technicians in demand, this Level 2 award will give you the skills you need to work in a hair or beauty salon to provide a range of nail services. The course features the basic principles of manicure, pedicure, nail art, nails and artificial structures so you can begin to work in industry.

Entry Requirements
Suitable level of English and maths. Level 2 Qulaification in Mancure and Pedicure.

Course Duration
Part Time, Two evenings per week, 6pm - 9pm

Skills and Benefits
The course will provide skills at Level 2 for those interested in the Nail industry, provide opportunities for staff in the Nail industry to gain a Level 2 qualification. The course will focus on providing opportunities for learners to focus on the development of the major functional skills and the wider functional skills in a beauty therapy context, such as communicating with clients, working with others and problem solving.

Course Assessment
Once all treatment evidence documentation, assignments and underpinning knowledge have been completed, the learner will have a final practical examination carried out by the ITEC External Examiner, who will also verify a sample of all treatment evidence documentation and assignments.
