What do I need?
There are no formal qualifications, but you should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in this subject and be prepared to work hard.
VTCT Health and Safety qualification is a requirement of this course. If you have not achieved this qualification within the past 3 years, then you will be required to study this unit along side the Indian Head Massage course.
A uniform is required for this course. You will be given costs and order forms on commencement of the programme (grants and loans may be available to help with the cost of uniforms).

Where will I study?
Baltic Campus
You'll be based at our fantastic £39million Baltic campus on the quayside. The campus has a prime location on Gateshead quayside, and state-of-the-art facilities including a Jacuzzi, gym and sauna, a 200 seat theatre, state-of-the-art classrooms, training kitchen and restaurant, refectory, bistro and vending areas.

How will I be assessed?
You will be continually assessed in both practical and theory work and will be required to build up a portfolio containing several case studies.
(Please note that this is an intensive course with essential home study required).

How will I be taught?
You will develop your skills within a realistic environment provided through our superbly equipped salons, and will be taught by a very experienced team of lecturers.

What qualification will I get?
VTCT level 3 Diploma Indian Head Massage.

Can I go onto further study?
You could gain further related qualifications in subjects such as Body Massage, Reflexology or Aromatherapy.

What are the career opportunities?
Students with this qualification often go on to be self employed. Students may also study other therapies and some will specialise and gain experience working in the National Health Service or for Charities.
