Weaving

Workshop for Schools

Suitable for Key Stages 2 upwards.

An endless assortment of materials can be used in weaving - from man-made materials such as plastics and wire to natural grasses, twigs, papers and threads.

Students will be able to explore how these materials can be woven together on a simple card loom to create variations in colour and texture. Individual weavings can later be combined to create a stunning wall hanging.
