This courses shows you how to author web pages using HTML initially and then moving on to web site development using Dreamweaver. Suitable for: Beginners new to the subject of Web authoring. The course contains extensive coverage of the basics of HTML which is essential even when using a package such as Dreamweaver. Also suitable for those with authoring experience wishing to learn about the Dreamweaver package or wishing to take the Certified Adobe Professional award.

Course Overview

Certification

The Dreamweaver® Certified Developer is the main qualification for Dreamweaver®.

This qualification shows employers that you have the skills and knowledge required to develop and produce websites in a Dreamweaver® environment.

Study Modules

We have used IT Professionals working in the industry to author a series of four study books (Two foundation modules and two Dreamweaver® modules) covering the syllabus of the Dreamweaver® Certified Developer course The final book culminates in a work-based practical project that adds a 'real-world' experience to the Study.

Working through the books introduces the concepts of web authoring from basic HTML to using the Dreamweaver® interface. Each topic is supported by practical exercises to reinforce the topics covered and build the skills required to become competent in using the application.

Virtual Training Centre

We have our own learning and management system called the Virtual Training Centre or VTC which comprises an on-line learning system that delivers interactive learning resources via any Internet connection. From here students can access elements of their training to support and reinforce the topics covered in the study books. The areas available are: -

  • Online progress checking to enable you to monitor your own progress through the course
Help and Support

We offer full support for all programme routes comprising e-mail support to a tutor with a maximum 3 day response to all learning queries, tutor initiated telephone support if query response requires it and VTC help elements of forum, chat room and FAQs.

12 months - to start 28 days after enrolment has been confirmed.

Exam Fees

Exams are included on most programme routes. Check with your selection advisor for clarification and details of the optional 'Exam Pack' if required.

Hardware and Software

Dreamweaver® Student Edition software is included with the Dreamweaver® course. A PC running the Windows operating system is required.
