"I attended this course in 2009 because I had been asked to photograph a friend's wedding. Although I had done many portraits in the past I had not done a wedding before. I have to say that the workshop was fantastic. From the Church that we used, the bride & groom models that were available and also for the actual training and course pack we were all given. Jeff Turnbull was great with all of us throughout the day, going through all the details that would be required on the day of the wedding. Not only did I learn how to photograph a wedding but I learnt from Jeff so much about how to deal with people on the wedding day in order to capture all those special moments. Following the course Jeff kept in touch with me making sure that I was prepared for the wedding but also sending me other information about photography that I found so benificial. The wedding that I photographed for my friend went really well and from that I also got another wedding booking. This workshop was really great value and definately gets the two thumbs up from me I would recommend it to amyone who is looking to get into wedding photography or for someone like me who originally did it because I'd been asked to photograph a friend's wedding." "Although I have a few weddings under my belt as a photographer I found Jeffs course very informative. You get hands on help, with a real wedding couple, in a great setting, Jeff not only runs through different poses with you but also the business side of wedding photography, from equipment , to marketing and insurance I have been on many a photo course but actually gained a lot of knowledge from this course and also came away with beautiful images taken by myself with Jeffs guidance what i have learnt will be useful time and time again I feel the personal attention and help you get is great value for money and have and will highly recommend this course to anyone who is thinking of taking wedding pictures The course boosted my confidence and has meant i can now produce much better images Oh and Jeff is a really nice friendly person to get along with, I myself have a slight learning problems but was in no way made to feel inferior , every thing was explain from ISO settings for low light through to DOF Andrea" February 2010

"I did like the course and enjoyed meeting like mkinded people. I needed the hands on experience, however, I think areas that could be improved are when we were shooting, we were told that we would take it in turns and that never happened needless to say I held back waiting for my turn and realised everyone else was shooting. Some of the guys were big and I felt intimidated, it would have been much better if everyone had around two minutes each and some space. I did feel that it was value for money, the above was my only critisium. I have learnt a lot from it and hope I am able to attend another course in the future. Thank you" November 2010
