Wedding Portfolio Builder (Photography)

“You can’t get work without a portfolio, but you can’t get a portfolio without work”

This fantastic day aims to solve just that problem, which every new wedding photographer faces. Understandably, no one will trust you to capture their big day without feeling confident you’ll do a good job by seeing your work.

So we’ve combined a day of tuition, with providing lots of bride and groom models at some stunning locations, so that you’ll leave with a large collection of images to demonstrate your new-found abilities. We have six professional models on every portfolio course, so that you can shoot a wide range of wedding images.

We have use of a beautiful local riverside church, and two high-end wedding receptions venues to shoot at, both inside and out. There are only 12 people on this course, and the groups will be split into two sets of 6, so you have lots of shooting time and will receive a lot of individual attention from both of our tutors.

Itinerary

09:00 – Meet at the studio, coffee and introduction, then head off to Location 1

09:45 - Begin shoot at a fantastic local Wedding Venue

* Stunning Bridal Portraits

* How to shoot flattering images

12:30 – LUNCH

13:30 – Head to Venue 2

* Shooting two separate Bride & Groom couples

* Posing

* Working with Natural Light

* Finding the best backgrounds

* Learning to ‘See the Light’

15:45 – Head to Location 3, a beautiful church located on the River Thames

* Working in Low Light

* Shooting a Bride & Groom images in the church grounds
