Course programme

Our courses cover all that is needed to develop a professional understanding
of make up artistry. These courses are intensive, in-depth and coverall aspects of make-up; from the very basic to the more creative.

The teaching is held in intimate classes of no more than 10 pupils per
course. Personally we feel this allows our students more time for hands on
practice, experience and more specialised teaching.

From time to time, we will have visiting make up artists from various areas of
the industry. They will come to give informal demonstrations and lectures to our
students, as we feel it is important to offer our students a wide range of
make-up styles to learn from.


Our courses offered run during weekdays (Mon-Fri for 11 consecutive days) and on Saturdays (for 11 weeks), so that anyone may attend, whether in full time
work or already a student elsewhere.

All our courses run from 10am to 6pm.

,The final day of each course will include a professional photoshoot; which students will take part in to obtain their first photos of their make-up work. Upon completion of our course, you will be awarded a professional make up certificate, accredited by BABTAC, along with a
CD of your final work.

The course will cover:
• Hygiene, skincare routines, eyebrow shaping, tools of the trade
• Foundation and application ˆ different textures
• Concealer and powder application
• Highlighting and contouring the face to shape it
• Blusher applications and techniques and textures
• Eye makeup natural and smokey including eyeliners and false
lashes
• Lip colours application, textures, lipliner, glosses
• A natural look
• A smokey / strong look
• Colour, bodypaints, metallics, cream eyeshadows
• Mineral makeup

By attending our foundation Course, you will have made your first steps into the
world of professional make up artistry. You will have an extensive knowledge
of professional make-up techniques and the confidence to apply these
skills within the industry.

The foundation make up course costs £2,500 and includes a small Professional
basic make-up starter kit worth £300 and a professional brush kit worth £70.
