Welsh (Second Language)

This is a three year course in which Welsh second language and first language students are taught seperately in some modules at Level 1. They may also choose Level 1 Breton and Irish modules which are also taught in the department.

In Part 2 students will have a wide and varied choice of modules to choose from, studying a total of 240 credits over a two year period for single honours and 120 credits over two years for joint honours. Welsh second language students follow the same modules as Welsh first language students in Part 2 and are taught in the same classes.
