1.West Kent College has over 12,000 part-time students and 2,300 full time students, aged between 16 and 89. It employs circa 700 full and part-time staff.

2.The College has a specialist campus at the North Farm Retail Park, Tunbridge Wells dedicated to Construction Crafts, Engineering and Motor Vehicle studies.

3.The College runs more than 500 courses in the following subject areas:• Science/maths• Construction Crafts and Building Studies• Engineering & Motor Vehicle• Computing, Technology & Manufacturing• Business, Administration & Management• Information & Communications Technology• Retailing & Customer Service• Hospitality, Leisure, Sport & Travel• Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy• Health & Social Care• Visual & Performing Arts & Media• Humanities• English, Languages & Communications• Public Services (preparation for the uniformed services)

4.Courses are offered at all levels from Level 1 (pre-GCSE) through to Masters Degrees (MBA), and Professional and Degree courses are offered in partnership with the University of Greenwich , University of Kent and Canterbury Christchurch University.

5.The College offers a wide selection of courses for businesses and employers including; apprenticeships, Health and Safety, NVQs and professional qualifications including for example; Accountancy, Marketing and Journalism. The College is a designated Centre of Excellence for Health and Social Care.

6.The Business Development Unit is dedicated to servicing the training needs of local employers and can tailor courses to suit individual company needs
