This is the first stage of a two-year course in which you will explore coastal habitats, survey animals and plants and manage local environments.The course is based on the nationally available City and Guilds diploma in Countryside Management and this will be the title on the certificate. However, most of the course content, visits and fieldwork will reflect the conservation and ecological focus of the course.

We require:
Mature students will be assessed individually on relevant qualifications and experience.
You will be taught and supported by a team of highly qualified, experienced experts at our specialist campus. You will study regularly out in the field and in our classrooms at Tolcarne beach, Blue Reef Aquarium and at our main campus behind Newquay Zoo.
The practical elements of the course are designed to help you develop the skills you need for employment and you will be given the opportunity to build contacts with local businesses.
