WILLOW WEAVING

Welcome spring with an artistic and sustainable outdoor activity. Become familiar with the wonderful nature of willow as a material, learn about its preparation for use and practice techniques for simple structures.

Pippa Scott, an expert willow weaver, will show you how to make garden climbers and structures, tailored to your needs.  Simple and non-specialist tools are needed, and it is even possible to grow your own materials, so it is not difficult to continue to practise what you have learnt!  Leave with a beautiful product and a valuable skill.

The course begins at 10.30am and finishes at 4.30pm, with a break for lunch at 1pm. Please bring weatherproof clothes and sturdy footwear.
