Aims and Objectives
This course has been designed to introduce students to the essential operating system and network technologies of Windows 2000. The course introduces the key Windows 2000 concepts such as security features, administration tools, the network environment and TCP/IP, as well as providing a more fundamental knowledge of networks and network architecture. This course in conjunction with 5108 Windows 2000 Professional and Server Support is preparatory for Microsoft exams 70-210 and 70-215.

Target Audiences
Current IT Professionals wishing to pursue Microsoft Certified Professional status in Windows 2000.

Prerequisites
In order to gain the most from the course, students should ideally possess the following:
