Overview

With training in house and off site with employers, you'll feel confident in a range of skills required by industry. This course is suitable for you if you are already working in joinery or if you want to gain the skills to work in bench joinery.

Entry Requirements
You will need 2 Grade Ds at GCSE. You will also need to be employed in the Construction Industry.

Course Duration
2 years.

Level 2 Diploma in Bench Joinery units include: Information, quantities and communication. Carry out safe working practices. Building methods and construction. Set up and use a circular rip saw. Produce setting out details for joinery products. Mark out details for joinery products. Manufacture joinery products.

Progression
Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship Level 2 qualification you can progress on to Level 3 Bench Joinery Apprenticeship.
