You will need 2 Grade Ds at GCSE. You will also need to be employed in the Construction Industry.

2 years.

Skills and Benefits
Apprenticeship Level 2 in Bench Joinery / Level 2 Diploma in Bench Joinery.

Mandatory Units
Apprenticeship units include: Conform to general workplace safety. Conform to efficient work practices. Move and handle resources. Manufacture routine products. Producing setting out details for routine Bench Joinery production in the workplace. Setting up & using circular saws in the workplace Marking out from setting out details for routine bench joinery products in the workplace. Level 2 Diploma in Bench Joinery units include: Information, quantities and communication. Carry out safe working practices. Building methods and construction. Set up and use a circular rip saw. Produce setting out details for joinery products. Mark out details for joinery products. Manufacture joinery products.

Progression
Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship Level 2 qualification you can progress on to Level 3 Bench Joinery Apprenticeship.
