This course is suitable for individuals who have managerial or supervisory responsibility for others involved in working at heights. It is also applicable for others involved in planning and organising this work, including Safety Professionals and Safety Representatives.

This is a comprehensive course which explains the requirements of the Regulations and describes different options to achieve a safe system of work.
Additional information:
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 take effect from the 6th April 2005. The regulations apply to all work at height where there is a risk of a fall liable to cause personal injury. They place duties on employers, the self-employed, and any person that controls the work of others, to the extent of their control (for example facilities managers or building owners who may contract others to work at height). (They do not apply to the provision of instruction or leadership in caving or climbing by way of sport, recreation, team building or similar activities.)

The trainer for this course has extensive experience in design and delivery of health undsafety training programmes. They are qualified by NEBOSH (National Examination Board for Occupational Safety undHealth) and are an Associate member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety undHealth) He is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management together with the Association for Project Safety.
