This programme is designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of principles and practice of Health and Safety in the workplace; and will be suited to anyone who needs to gain a practical understanding of their role and responsibility fro health and safety.
The objectives of this course are to:
*Describe the legal framework within which workplace health and safety operates
*Explain control systems for ensuring health and safety is properly managed
*Analyse policy and practice in relation to workplace health
*Analyse policy and practice in relation to workplace safety
*Analyse policy and practice in relation to workplace welfare
This course is delivered by distance learning so students can study in their own time at home or at work, and take up to 12 months to complete their course.
Once completed students will receive a Level 2 certificate from ABC Awards, a recognised national awarding body.
