This unique new qualification for 16-18 year-olds offers an alternative route to higher education, providing students with all they need for a successful university application. Teaching is student-centred and incorporates class, group, or individual lessons. Students will study English, maths and a range of humanities subjects (such as sociology, psychology or history) as well as develop.

About this course

The course is aimed at students who may not have gained the GCSEs required to do A-Levels or have not achieved at AS Level yet are determined to progress onto university. Young people need to be at least 16 to apply. All applicants will be interviewed and individually assessed.

What will you be learning?
This unique new qualification for 16-18 year-olds offers an alternative route to higher education, providing students with all they need for a successful university application.

Teaching is student-centred and incorporates class, group, or individual lessons. Students will study English, maths and a range of humanities subjects (such as sociology, psychology or history) as well as develop their communication, analytical, research and personal skills. Students will be internally assessed by presentations, essays, projects and various assignments throughout the year.

Students will be guided through the application process for university and may progress onto a wide range of subjects at Degree level.
