About the course

The School of Health and Social Sciences has well established relationships with many voluntary and statutory agencies within the Bolton area and the wider North West region, for example sport, health and voluntary sector organisations, Bolton Youth Service, faith groups, the Youth Offending Team and Connexions.

Guest speakers who are specialists in the field of youth and community work share their substantial experience by giving talks as guest lecturers on the course.

All teaching staff have professional experience in the field of youth and community work and will give you excellent support throughout your studies.

A major component of this course is development of the appropriate skills, competencies and core knowledge that will enable you to be an effective practitioner in the field of youth and community work.
