Youth Work NVQ Level 3

What will I study?
This course is for those who are in paid employment and are
responsible for supervising staff in organising activities to
develop young people in a variety of youth or community settings.
Subjects studied include: establishing relationships and
maintaining a dialogue with young people, working as an effective
and reflective practitioner and working in ways that promote
equality of opportunity, participation and responsibility.

What can I do next?
This can lead to further training at Lewisham College and
enhanced job prospects.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to be employed as a youth worker or a paid
sessional worker and ideally to have completed the NVQ Level 2 in
Youth Work. You will be offered an assessment and interview and you
are required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau check before you
start the course.

What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
