This 2 days intensive mental health care assistant works in hospitals or in the community helping people who suffer from a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety and stress-related illnesses, to more severe problems including personality disorders, eating disorders, and drug and alcohol abuse. This course is designed for people who would like to get basic knowledge to become mental health care assistant or for those who need to know how to deal with this disability while looking after their members of family.

About this course
Upon completion delegates will gain knowledge, skills, strategies and understanding on some basic mental health conditions and how to provide support and assistance to those in that condition. There is a possibility of volunteer job placement. They will also receive certificate of attendance which is valid for 3 years.

- Mental Health Awareness including Mental illness (Anxiety Disorder, Clinical Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Dementia)
DAY TWO
- Introduction to PMVA (Prevention and Managing Aggression and Violence)
- Basic First Aid Awareness in Mental Health Care
