You will be encouraged to explore three dimensional design using material such as metal, concrete, clay, plaster, and glass. You will learn to make the link between form and function and their relationship to different types of environment, whether in industrial or traditional architecture or interior design, or in more contemporary applications such as modelling for special effects in film or theatre. You will be assessed both through theme based coursework and an externally assessed practical exam. An integral part of the course is visits to galleries, museums and professional visits.
