About this course

This course is for people who want to pursue a career in 3D Design. To start the course you need 4 GCSEs (grade A-C) or a Level 2 BTEC Diploma (previously BTEC First Diploma) in a relevant subject and a portfolio of art and design work (including an example of written work).

What will you be learning?
The course is for people who want to pursue a career in 3D Design and covers studio-based work and theory to enable an understanding of design in a professional and commercial context. After you have successfully completed this course, you can progress onto a Degree or HND course or begin a career in interior design, architecture, model making, set design in theatre, television and film, exhibition and point-of-sale design, furniture making or product design.
