Introduction 2 years full-time
Sociology is the systematic study of people in groups and societies. The syllabus focuses mainly on modern western industrial societies and especially on modern Britain, but some comparison with earlier times and with other societies will be made. We consider the explanations offered by sociologists for the way that people behave and we look at the research evidence on which these explanations are based. This subject is supported by Information Technology Key Skill lectures as an integral part of our A Level programme.
