Completing the Access to Higher Education Primary Teaching course was one of the most difficult things I have ever done, balancing studies, family and work was very hard but my appointed tutors proved invaluable. I chose to improve my capabilities keeping in mind the end goal to start another vocation after working for six years in the Royal Navy. Having gone to secondary school in Ireland, my Irish Leaving Certificate capabilities do not appear to be worth much here. I was under the feeling that I would need to finish GCSE's or A levels keeping in mind the end goal to try and be considered for passage to college, however when addressing a course executive at Birmingham college, he proposed to finish an Access to Higher Education course with DistanceLearningCentre.com.
