A Level Chemistry - AS and A Levels Full-time (FE)

• Development of practical skills. This covers skills in planning, implementing, analysis and evaluation.
• Foundation Chemistry.  This covers atoms, compounds, molecules and equations.  Amount of substance, acid-base and redox reaction, electrons, bonding and structure.
• Periodic Table and Energy.  This covers the Periodic Table and periodicity, groups 2 and 7, qualitative analysis, enthalpy, rates of reaction and equilibrium.
• Core Organic Chemistry.  This covers basic concepts,hydrocarbons, alcohols, haloalkanes and organic synthesis.
