Many of the products and items that we use in everyday life are a direct result of the application of chemistry. Similarly, our transport system relies on fuel refined by chemists, who are responsible to ensure the smooth running of the engine and catalytic converters to prevent pollution. By studying Chemistry, you will discover the huge impact it has on the world around us. By the end of the course you should have a deeper understanding of the importance of Chemistry and how vital it is in understanding the way in which the world works.
