Entry onto this course is through successful completion of an audition and the achievement of 5 GCSEs at C grade or above. Also, experience of dance is required.

· A2: You will deepen your understanding in the 2nd year by investigating one area of study. You will also perform a solo piece and choreograph a group dance.

Special Features: You will learn different contemporary techniques in the dance studio and you will develop analytical skills during theory sessions.

Appropriate dance clothing will be required for this course.

Course Format: Regular class assessment will take place along with the practical examination and written examination at the end of each academic year.

Progression: · Students must achieve a minimum grade D at AS Level to progress on to A2 Dance.
