A Level English Language & Literature

After successful completion of this course you can progress into Higher Education to study an honours degree or into employment studying for a professional qualification.

There are lots of career options open to humanities students, with many centred around the strong research and reporting skills that humanities subjects require.

An English Degree is broad and versatile, which offers students a wide variety of career paths to follow. With an emphasis on communication and the written word, graduates learn to research analyse and interpret information.

You will require a minimum of 6 GCSEs at grades A*-C including English and maths grades 9-5 (formerly A*-C).
