If you're interested in a career in law, or simply want to find out more about the hugely complex and compelling world of the legal system, our home study A level in the subject should be a perfect foundation on which to build your knowledge. Learning about how laws come to be, the different types of law, the way the judicial system works, the concept of liability and the impact of European law, the overview this course provides will empower you with useful knowledge regardless of the area in which you want to work. As well as studying the law itself, you'll also investigate the effect it has on people and how effective different laws are, developing skills of analysis and argument as you go.

You will also look at the structure of the judicial system, criminal law, tort and contract law, as well as changes in European law and its wider implications.
